How to Measure Your 3/4 Bed for a Mattress
To measure your 3/4 bed size for a mattress, follow these simple steps:
Step 1: Start from the inside edge of the headboard and measure to the inside edge of the footboard (or the end of the frame if there’s no footboard). Then measure the inside width of the bed frame from one side rail to the other.
Step 2: Next, measure the depth of the frame from the base of the bed frame, or the platform the mattress will rest on, to the top of the side rails.
Step 3: Create a rough sketch of your mattress design, and add as much information as you think will be helpful.
