When it comes to extra long mattresses, you’ve got a few options.
Giant Beds
If price isn’t a concern, you should consider buying a giant mattress. These come in 7 different sizes (see image below). All of these are larger than California King.
Benefits:
- Easy Set Up & Easy to Relocate: They arrive in 3 pieces which zipper together to make one huge bed. This makes shipping affordable and should you decide to move houses, you can take the mattress with you.
- Adjust the feel: All 3 pieces can be flipped to change the feel. The top comfort layer has one side harder (natural latex) and one side softer (gel memory foam). The encased coil bases that sit underneath can also be flipped with harder/softer sides.
- Price range: for these are $2500-$3500

Extra Long Mattresses in Standard Mattress Width
Essentially, you’d be ordering a regular twin/full/queen width, but you’d add some length to the end of the mattress.
Here are some examples:
Twin XXL:
Twin measures 38″ x 75″ and a twin XL measures 38″ x 80″. Example XXL lengths: 38 x 84, 38 x 90, 38 x 96, 38 x 98, etc.
Full XXL:
Full measures: 54″ x 75″ and Full XL measures 54″ x 80″. Full XXL examples: 54 x 84, 54 x 90, 54 x 96, 54 x 98, etc.
Queen XXL:
Queen is 60″ x 80″ and California Queen is 60″ x 84″. Queen XXL examples: 60 x 84, 60 x 90, 60 x 96, 60 x 98, etc.
All foam and Innerspring Options Available
We carry a variety of foams which can be used to make your extra long bed. They include high density foam, gel memory foam, and latex. We also carry individually encased coils designed to reduce transfer of motion. Each mattress is finished with a luxurious organic cotton fabric.
